Skincare on your Lazy Days
We all have days when we just can't keep up with that 5-step, 6-step, 7-step skincare regime. If today is that day for you, here are some daily necessities that you should (try to) never ever skip.
  • Cleansing: The most basic of a skincare regime, cleansing removes impurities and excess oil from your skin so it can stay breakout-free.¬†Cleansing prepares your skin for other skincare products, so that they can work more effectively. For dry or sensitive skin, try a alcohol-free cleanser that is creamy. For oily skin, a good cleanser shrinks pores and reduces blackheads and pimples.¬†¬†
  • Water: Water flushes toxins out of our body and makes sure our digestive system runs smoothly. It removes impurities that leads to breakouts¬†from¬†the inside.¬†Good digestive¬†health has been proven to lead to good skin health so make sure to get your 8 glasses of water everyday.
  • Moisturizing: As you age, our skin loses elasticity, gets thinner, and drier. Applying moisturizer helps our skin hold in moisture
  • Sunscreen: Sunscreen not only protects the skin from skin cancer but also from signs of aging. Look for a sunscreen with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide for full protection and apply at least 20 minutes before sun exposure (this includes sitting next to a window too).¬†
